Iran Escalates by Targeting Jordan’s Al-Azraq Base Amid US-Iran Clash
Iran’s IRGC says it fired missiles at the Muwaffaq Salti (Al-Azraq) air base in Jordan, targeting US forces in retaliation for strikes on Iranian oil tankers; 18 of 20 missiles were intercepted with no casualties reported. The base houses key US assets and serves as a strategic hub for air operations, reflecting a widening US‑Iran confrontation in the region.
