AMC and Canal+ Greenlight Eight-Part 'Point Break' Series for 2027
AMC and French broadcaster Canal+ have officially greenlit an eight-episode series based on the 1991 film 'Point Break.' Produced by Alcon Television Group and co-produced by StudioCanal, the show is set in the present day, over thirty years after the original movie. The series follows a new heist crew connected to the Ex-Presidents gang and an FBI agent who must infiltrate them. Production is scheduled to begin in early 2027.
