Dodgers' Kiké Hernández sidelined by significant oblique tear
Dodgers utilityman Kiké Hernández was diagnosed with a significant left oblique tear, likely forcing an extended absence after his elbow-surgery rehab. Alex Freeland will be recalled to take his roster spot and handle most of the second-base duties, while Santiago Espinal was designated for assignment to clear 40-man space ahead of Hernández’s absence.
