The Behemoth has announced that Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD will launch on November 1 for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. Alien Hominid Invasion will be priced at $19.99, Alien Hominid HD at $11.99, and a bundle containing both games will be available for $24.99. The games offer endless customization options, cooperative play for up to four players, and a non-linear gameplay experience.
The run-and-gun Flash game, Alien Hominid HD, originally released on Newgrounds in 2002 and later on consoles, is now being re-released on Steam with upgraded graphics and leaderboards. Alongside the re-release, a sequel called Alien Hominid Invasion is also in the works. The Behemoth, the studio behind the game, gained popularity with the original release and went on to create other successful titles like Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater. The sequel will feature four-player co-op and a demo was available during Steam's Next Fest.
