"Alien Hominid HD: Classic Run-and-Gun Game Returns to Modern Platforms"
The run-and-gun Flash game, Alien Hominid HD, originally released on Newgrounds in 2002 and later on consoles, is now being re-released on Steam with upgraded graphics and leaderboards. Alongside the re-release, a sequel called Alien Hominid Invasion is also in the works. The Behemoth, the studio behind the game, gained popularity with the original release and went on to create other successful titles like Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater. The sequel will feature four-player co-op and a demo was available during Steam's Next Fest.
