Aliso Viejo Woman Indicted for Embezzling $411K from High School Football Booster Club
Julie Hanway Molina, 56, was arrested in Aliso Viejo on September 10, 2026, facing federal charges for stealing $411,761 from the Wolverine Football Club, a booster organization for Aliso Niguel High School. Prosecutors allege she diverted funds between 2023 and November 2025 to pay personal debts, including her mortgage and credit card bills, while concealing the theft with falsified financial reports. Molina faces four counts of wire fraud, each carrying a potential 20-year prison sentence. The Capistrano Unified School District confirmed she was not a district employee, and the booster club stated it is cooperating with law enforcement.
