Former Wake Forest star and NFL defensive back Alphonso Smith Jr., 40, was found dead in Florida hours after a final social media post in which he referenced childhood abuse and alleged demonic possession, pleading for forgiveness from his children and family. The cause of death has not been confirmed; TMZ reported suicide, but OutKick could not independently verify.
