Syracuse to Start Third QB, Malachi Nelson, Against Virginia After Odom Doubtful, Angeli Out
Syracuse will start quarterback Malachi Nelson against Virginia on Saturday after Amari Odom was listed as doubtful and Steve Angeli was ruled out. Nelson, a former No. 1 recruit, will make his seventh collegiate start. The move follows a week of injury concerns for the Orange's top two quarterbacks, leaving Nelson as the primary option for a critical ACC contest.
