Fox Orders Modern Highway to Heaven Reboot for 2027-28
Fox has ordered a contemporary reboot of the 1980s classic Highway to Heaven for the 2027-28 season, produced by Jason Katims, Amblin Television and Michael Landon Productions. The new series will preserve the original’s hopeful, compassionate themes about a probationary angel helping people on Earth, while updated for today’s audience, with Katims serving as showrunner and executive producer alongside Amblin and Landon’s family wing.
