Amy Israel, the EVP of Original Programming, Global Scripted at Showtime, is stepping down from her role after more than 10 years with the company. Israel has been responsible for successful series such as Billions, SMILF, and The Affair. Her departure follows other executive changes at Showtime and comes after the merger with MTV Entertainment Studios and the rebranding of Showtime as Paramount+. Israel will remain in a transition role until the end of the year, leaving the creative team in the capable hands of Nina Diaz and an exceptionally talented group of creatives.
