Sacramento DA Files 35 Felonies Against Tiny Home Co-Founders for Fraud
The Sacramento County District Attorney has filed 35 felony charges against Austin and Colton Paulhus, co-founders of Anchored Tiny Homes, alleging they conspired to divert over $1 million in customer payments for 13 accessory dwelling unit projects without performing work or supplying materials. The company, which previously claimed to be a $100 million enterprise, abruptly shut down, leaving more than 30 customers with unfinished homes and financial losses. The Paulhus brothers are currently seeking bankruptcy protection, and their case is scheduled for hearing in Sacramento Superior Court next week.
