Durham Firefighter Andrew Brokes Dies in Roof Collapse; Gov. Stein Orders Half-Staff
Durham Firefighter Andrew Brokes, 24, died after a roof collapsed during a structure fire on Marly Drive. Two other firefighters were injured but released. Governor Josh Stein ordered state flags to half-staff, and the State Bureau of Investigation is probing the cause.
