Leaks and renders suggest AYANEO is developing the Pocket Block (also called BITWAVE), an Android-based handheld with a standard console layout, an AYAButton for AYAWindow, and USB-C/microSD along with stereo speakers. Seen as a budget alternative to Pocket AIR Mini, Miyoo Mini Plus, and TrimUI Brick, the device’s exact specs and release date remain unconfirmed.
For under $100, the MagicX One 35 offers surprisingly strong gaming performance on a compact 3.5-inch display, with solid emulation potential for GBA/DS and light PS2/GC, plus decent build quality and controls; however, its TATE-mode ergonomics and some software quirks mean it isn’t perfect and could use refinements.
AYANEO announced the Pocket DS, the world's first flip dual-screen Android handheld, featuring a 7-inch OLED main display and a 5-inch secondary display, with advanced color and refresh rate options, aimed at retro gaming and geek enthusiasts, with mass production already underway and debut planned at ChinaJoy 2025.
The Ayaneo Pocket S, equipped with a Snapdragon G3x Gen 3 chipset and a borderless full-screen display, is set to compete with high-end gaming smartphones. It boasts Wi-Fi 7, a 5G modem, and a 6-inch 2K borderless 1440p IPS display with touch-screen functionality. The handheld features a high-strength body with a matt finish, hall-sensing joysticks with RGB light effects, and is expected to be available in April. Pricing details are yet to be revealed.
