Kroenke Unveils $2.5B Ballpark Plan for Angels After $4B Buyout
Incoming Los Angeles Angels owner Stan Kroenke plans to replace Angel Stadium with a $2.5-billion ballpark after agreeing to buy the Angels from Arte Moreno for a reported MLB-record $4 billion, with the deal expected to close in early 2027. Kroenke already owns SoFi Stadium and the surrounding complex that will host the 2028 Olympics.
