Indiana Won't Charge Tim Hortons Employee After 75-Year-Old's Death
An Allen County prosecutor in Indiana announced that no criminal charges will be filed after a May 13 altercation at a Fort Wayne Tim Hortons left 75-year-old Anita Grayson dead. Surveillance and witnesses supported that Grayson initiated the confrontation, while investigators found the employee(s)’ actions justified as defense of a minor coworker and self-defense; the medical examiner could not prove the death was caused by the altercation beyond reasonable doubt, leading to the case closure.
