Manhattan Woman Charged with Syringe Stabbings of Jewish Men in Diamond District
Anna Mochalova, 32, was arrested and charged with multiple assault and hate crime counts after allegedly stabbing two Jewish men in Midtown Manhattan on October 21. Prosecutors allege she targeted victims based on their religious appearance, including a 26-year-old rabbi she stabbed with a syringe. Mochalova’s defense claims mistaken identity, while the Jewish community urges her detention due to safety concerns.
