Urlacher Says Kaepernick's Kneel Would Have Broken His Bears Locker Room
Pro Football Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher stated that Colin Kaepernick's 2016 national anthem protests would have been unacceptable in his Chicago Bears locker room. Urlacher argued that political divisions disrupt team unity, a stance that led him and his wife to stop watching professional football for approximately three years. While he acknowledged minor conflicts are normal, he viewed the anthem protests as a fundamental breach of locker room cohesion.
