Elon Musk Calls for Immediate Firing of Disney CEO Bob Iger
Elon Musk has called for the firing of Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, over the company's decision to temporarily suspend advertising on X (formerly Twitter) due to an antisemitic post by Musk. Musk has since apologized for his post but criticized the companies that took action against him, including Disney. In a recent post, Musk accused Iger of allowing Disney to advertise next to child exploitation material and called for his immediate firing. Iger has not responded to Musk's comments. Several major companies, including Apple and IBM, pulled their ads from X in response to Musk's post, resulting in an estimated loss of nearly $75 million in advertising revenue for X.
