Russia's Destruction of the World's Largest Plane: Before and After in Photos
The world's largest airplane, the Antonov An-225 "Mriya," was destroyed by Russia during the invasion of Ukraine's Hostomel Airport in 2022. Photos show the dismantling of the aircraft, with some engines salvaged. Ukraine estimates it will cost $500 million to rebuild the mammoth jet.
