
SpaceX eyes $60B Cursor acquisition to fuel AI coding push
SpaceX says it has the rights to buy Cursor, an AI coding assistant from Anysphere, for $60 billion later this year, with a $10 billion alternative to collaborate. The deal would tie Cursor to SpaceX’s xAI and its Colossus data-center infrastructure to scale AI models, as Cursor competes with Claude Code and Codex and SpaceX eyes a potential Wall Street debut.
