AbbVie to Buy Apogee Therapeutics, Expanding Immunology Pipeline
AbbVie will acquire Apogee Therapeutics for $135.11 per share in cash, valuing Apogee at about $10.9 billion, to broaden AbbVie’s immunology and respiratory portfolio. Apogee’s lead asset zumilokibart (APG777) is an IL-13–targeting monoclonal antibody for atopic dermatitis, with APG273 (a combo with anti-TSLP antibody APG333) in asthma, plus additional antibody programs. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2026, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, and is anticipated to be accretive to AbbVie’s adjusted EPS beginning in 2032. An AbbVie investor conference call is planned for June 22, 2026."
