Microsoft’s Windows 11 Build 26200.8313 Preview delivers a faster File Explorer, removes white flashes in dark mode, and adds support for new archive formats (cpio, uu, xar, nupkg); it also improves explorer.exe stability and taskbar interactions, with many improvements rolling out with the May 2026 optional update after testing in Release Preview.
