Argonaut Games announced a remaster of Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, adding new enemies, new characters, a triple jump, updated visuals, and a digital museum chronicling the game's development; the 1999 platformer follows Croc’s quest to find his missing parents and rescue Professor Gobbo, with no release date yet.
Argonaut Games revealed Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos for Nintendo Switch, a remaster due in Q4 2026 that boosts visuals and quality-of-life, restores the original development name, adds new moves like triple jump, and spans over 40 open-ended levels with vehicle-riding and aerial sections. It also includes the Croc2pedia in-game museum with behind-the-scenes material and interviews, continuing after last year’s Switch remaster of the original Croc.
Argonaut Games is releasing a free PS5 and PS4 upgrade for Croc: Legend of the Gobbos to add a Platinum trophy, along with new features like a time trial mode, additional content, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements, available from October 16.
