Eddie Murphy revealed at the AFI Awards that his son Eric Murphy and daughter-in-law Jasmin Lawrence welcomed their first daughter, Ari Skye, making Murphy and Martin Lawrence co-grandparents. Murphy, who has 10 children, emphasized that he believes kids learn more from the example you set than from advice, and he’s excited about his growing family. Jasmin and Eric reportedly wed in May 2025, and the couple has not publicly announced the birth as of now.
