Aristocrat Leisure acquires NeoGames for $1.2 billion.
Australian gaming company Aristocrat Leisure is set to acquire Israel-based online gaming solutions provider NeoGames for $1bn, leading to a 120% surge in the target's shares in premarket trading. The acquisition will give Aristocrat entry into the highly regulated iLottery market and facilitate further penetration across other online real-money gaming verticals. Aristocrat will pay $29.50 per share to shareholders of the Nasdaq-listed firm for 100% of its shares, representing a premium of about 130% to NeoGames' last close of $12.84.
