Nvidia's Arm-based PC Chips Pose Threat to Intel's Stock
Intel's stock dipped after reports emerged that Nvidia is developing an Arm-based CPU for the PC market, potentially challenging Intel's dominance. Nvidia has a history of making Arm-compatible chips for handheld game consoles and tablets, and it already challenges Intel and AMD in the datacenter with its Grace-Hopper and Grace CPU Super Chips. AMD is also reportedly developing PC hardware that uses Arm's intellectual property. The market for Arm-based PCs has grown, driven by Apple's switch to Arm chips, and Qualcomm has been working to break into the PC and datacenter market as well.
