Colorado authorities charged U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer Nicholas Rice with assault in the third degree and criminal mischief after video records him grabbing a protester by the hair, putting her in a chokehold and shoving her to the ground during a Durango demonstration over immigration enforcement; state investigators are reviewing the incident, and Rice is due to appear in court on May 27.
