Jason Spezza, a former NHL center, has been named the new assistant general manager for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He will report directly to Kyle Dubas, the team's president of hockey operations, and assist in all hockey operations departments. Spezza played in the NHL for 19 seasons and was a "special assistant" to Dubas in Toronto last season. Dubas is expected to name a new GM soon, with former assistant Brandon Pridham as a top candidate.
