Accused Atlanta-area shooter in triple homicide dies in custody
An accused Atlanta-area gunman, Olaolukitan Adon Abel, dies in his jail cell while awaiting trial for a string of early-morning shootings that killed three people, including a Department of Homeland Security employee who was walking her dog. Authorities say there is no indication of foul play, and a medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The attacks, in Decatur, Brookhaven and Panthersville, were described as random, and a separate man faces federal charges for allegedly purchasing the gun used.
