PlatinumGames President Signals Intent to Expand Bayonetta Franchise Amid Stellar Blade Collaboration
PlatinumGames president Atsushi Inaba expressed a strong desire to expand the Bayonetta franchise during a Famitsu interview, though he declined to confirm a specific new title. The comments followed a collaboration announcement bringing Bayonetta-themed costumes to Stellar Blade on Nintendo Switch 2. While Inaba praised the Switch 2's potential, he noted PlatinumGames has no current title on the platform. The series faces uncertainty after creator Hideki Kamiya's departure and the loss of key staff, but Inaba’s remarks suggest continued development.
