China Dominates Global Auto Exports and EV Production, Driving Competition in the Market
China has become the world leader in automobile exports, surpassing Japan in the first half of 2023, with major Chinese automakers exporting 2.14 million vehicles, a 76% increase compared to the previous year. This growth is attributed to the rising popularity of Chinese electric cars sold worldwide. Japan, on the other hand, exported 2.02 million vehicles, experiencing a 17% gain.
