McLaren Rebuilds Its First Road Car, the M6GT, to Perfection

McLaren Special Operations has rebuilt the rare M6GT—Bruce McLaren's semi-legendary 1960s road car—from original drawings, molds and photos, using the M6A chassis, original-style dome rivets, and a 5.7-liter Chevrolet V8 (~370 hp) with a five-speed manual; the one-off restoration, finished in Colnbrook White and featuring a green M2B-inspired interior, is set to be displayed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed as a tribute to McLaren's beginnings.
