HBO Dominates 2026 Peabody Awards as Documentaries and Series Lead the Winners
The 2026 Peabody Awards announced 34 winners across entertainment and documentary, with HBO earning six wins—three in documentary and three for TV—leading the field, while Apple TV+, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix and PBS each took two awards. Winners span HBO’s Heated Rivalry, The Pitt, and The Rehearsal, along with a broad slate of documentaries and podcasts. Jurors from more than 1,000 submissions selected the winners, and the 86th Peabody Awards ceremony is set for May 31 in Beverly Hills, with honorees including Amy Poehler, Sterlin Harjo, James L. Brooks, and PBS Kids.
