Ex-RAF militant jailed 13 years for decades-long spree of armed robberies
Former Red Army Faction member Daniela Klette was sentenced to 13 years in prison for eight armed robberies across northern and western Germany between 1999 and 2016, after more than 30 years on the run. Caught in Berlin in 2024, she was convicted in Verden of aggravated robbery and weapons offences, with prosecutors also alleging involvement in other RAF attacks; two other RAF fugitives remain at large.
