Back-to-back homers cap A’s rally to beat Mariners 6-4
Oakland defeated Seattle 6-4 in the series opener as Emerson Hancock’s five innings were undone by back-to-back homers from Nick Kurtz and Shea Langeliers in the sixth; Cal Raleigh and Dominic Canzone homered for the Mariners, while Josh Naylor and Julio Rodríguez combined for five hits, but Seattle couldn’t overcome a 13-hit Athletics day and late bullpen miscues.
