Blaney and Hocevar Clash at Bristol, Sparking Fight and No Penalties
During the 2026 Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Ryan Blaney and Carson Hocevar were involved in a physical altercation following a late-race crash. Blaney, who led 202 laps, was sent into the wall with 43 laps remaining after contact with Hocevar. The two drivers exchanged punches on pit road, with Hocevar landing two punches that left Blaney with a black eye. NASCAR did not issue penalties to either driver, and Blaney later described the on-track incident as a 50-50 situation where both were fighting for the bottom lane.
