Saud Shakeel Condemns Pakistan's Repeated Batting Errors in Edgbaston Collapse
Saud Shakeel criticized Pakistan's batting performance after they were bowled out for a low score in 33.5 overs at Edgbaston, citing repeated mistakes and poor shot selection despite favorable pitch conditions later in the day. Shakeel noted that the team failed to build partnerships during overcast conditions that favored England, leading to a first-innings score where the top five failed to reach double figures. While acknowledging the challenging lateral movement of the ball, Shakeel emphasized that the team must adapt to difficult situations rather than blaming external factors, highlighting his own recent improvement as a model for necessary adaptability.
