Colorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a left heel bruise. Bryant, who is in the second year of his seven-year, $182 million deal with the Rockies, has been struggling with his batting this season, hitting only five home runs in 50 games while slugging an abysmal .374. His OPS+ is 87 and his WAR is negative-0.5. There are concerns about his ability to be a difference-maker in the lineup, and it's unclear if his struggles are due to injuries or a mental block.
