Trinity Metro Sets Oct. 29 Groundbreaking for TEXRail Medical District Extension
Trinity Metro has secured the necessary agreements to begin construction on a new TEXRail station in south Fort Worth. The agency’s board approved a deal with Baylor Scott & White Health, which includes a land donation and a 35-year ground lease. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for October 29, 2026, to mark the start of the 2.1-mile rail extension.
