Oklahoma’s Offensive Crisis Meets Georgia’s Elite Defense in High-Stakes SEC Clash
Oklahoma (2-1) faces No. 2 Georgia (3-0) in a critical SEC matchup, with the Sooners' struggling offense and questionable quarterback John Mateer pitted against the Bulldogs' elite defense. Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables has expressed frustration with offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle's lack of clear identity, while Georgia's Gunner Stockton and safety KJ Bolden are highlighted as key threats. The game, set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, is seen as a potential turning point for Oklahoma's season, with a bye week and a No. 1 Texas game looming.
