Nicolas Cage Slings Noir Justice as Spider-Noir in Prime Video Series

The Hollywood Reporter reports Nicolas Cage stars as Ben Reilly, a down-on-his-luck private investigator who discovers his Spider-Man Noir powers in 1930s New York for Sony Pictures Television, MGM+ and Prime Video’s Spider-Noir. The trailer sets Cage against Brendan Gleeson’s Irish crime boss Silvermane in a standalone Spider-Man Noir story that will stream in Authentic Black & White or True-Hue Full Color, and premieres May 27 with a binge release. This marks Cage’s first leading TV series role, with a cast that includes Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Karen Rodriguez and Jack Huston, and with Harry Bradbeer directing the first two episodes and Uziel/Lightfoot as showrunners, developed alongside Lord, Miller and Pascal.
