The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Albert Nixon Richter IV and Brianna Richter as the couple involved in a Stone Oak incident: Albert shot Brianna and then killed himself after forcing entry into a North Side home; an SAPD officer was wounded during the barricade, two children inside the house were unharmed, and authorities used tear gas and a drone during the response.
The death of a ground crew worker who was sucked into a Delta Air Lines plane's engine at San Antonio International Airport has been ruled a suicide by the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office. The National Transportation Safety Board will not investigate the incident as there were no operational safety issues with either the airplane or the airport.
Rafael Redondo-Navarrete, 27, was shot and killed in the face at the Palatia Apartment Homes in the 10300 block of Sahara Drive on Thursday morning. He was found lying on the landing of a stairwell and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the incident and searching for additional witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage. No one has been arrested yet.
