Credit Suisse faces legal setbacks in high-profile cases.

Credit Suisse to pay Georgian billionaire $926 million in fraud case.

Credit Suisse has been ordered by a Singapore court to pay $926m to Georgia's former prime minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili, for losing part of his fortune. The court ruled that a unit of Credit Suisse had not acted in good faith and neglected to keep Ivanishvili's assets safe. Credit Suisse immediately said it would appeal the decision. The bank is also appealing against another judgment related to its management of Ivanishvili's assets.
