Ukraine is in the first phase of its counteroffensive to reclaim territory occupied by Russian forces since February 2022. Ukrainian forces have recaptured eight villages so far, including Blahodatne, which has become a new front line in the war. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal warned that the counteroffensive "will take time," but he remains optimistic about its success.
