Blair Witch Reboot Sets 2027 Theatrical Release
Lionsgate and Blumhouse Atomic Monster are rebooting The Blair Witch Project, with an untitled film slated for a Sept. 24, 2027 theatrical release. Dylan Clark will direct, rewriting a script by Chris Thomas Devlin. Producers include Jason Blum and James Wan for Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Roy Lee, with Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath also on board. Executive producers include Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams from the original film alongside the project’s directors Eduardo Sánchez, Daniel Myrick and Gregg Hale, plus studio oversight. Plot details remain under wraps as the team moves forward with the new take on the horror classic.
