Guilty Gear Strive Version 2.02 adds Robo-Ky as a playable character (via Season Pass 5 or Robo-Ky DLC), introduces Music Playlists for Battle BGM with per-character settings, and runs Blazing Pass Duel 2: Ennui Protocol with rewards through Sept 17. The patch also includes balance tweaks and various UI/content updates; Robo-Ky and the update go live after July 2 maintenance (12 a.m.–2 a.m. PT).
Arc System Works has announced a limited-time feature for Guilty Gear Strive called Blazing Pass, a BP-based rewards system with the first chapter, Blazing Pass Duel 1: Reignite, running May 14–June 25. A paid upgrade, Blazing Pass Plus, costs $5.99 and adds extra rewards; upgrading grants all rewards earned up to the current BP level. The game, available on PS4/PS5, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows, has surpassed 3.5 million players, and Season Pass 5 is available for $24.99 with four new characters and additional content. Players should patch the game, and note that Blazing Pass Plus rewards may not carry over beyond Duel.
