Ukraine and Netherlands Launch 'Bliksem' to Build Independent Missile Defense
Ukraine and the Netherlands have agreed to collaborate on the 'Bliksem' project, a European initiative to develop an exo-atmospheric ballistic missile interceptor. This move aims to reduce reliance on US-supplied Patriot systems, which are currently in short supply. The Netherlands also announced a 1.2 billion euro non-military aid package for Ukraine's energy and water infrastructure ahead of winter.
