
Rockies stun Red Sox as Chapman’s save streak ends with walk-off triple
In Denver, the Red Sox blew a late lead as closer Aroldis Chapman allowed a walk-off, bases-clearing triple to Jake McCarthy in the bottom of the ninth, handing Boston a 3-2 loss to the Rockies. It was Chapman’s first blown save in 13 months, and the Sox ended a season-long streak of 29-0 when leading after seven innings.
