Bluetti Sora 500 folds into a tiny footprint while delivering 500W
Bluetti’s Sora 500 packs 500W into a compact 12-panel, N-Type TOPCon folding design and has real-world test outputs around 509W (over 800W with extra rooftop panels). It’s ideal for space-constrained setups like vanlife, folds into a suitcase-like package, and uses a 3S4P layout to mitigate shading. However, it isn’t bifacial, is heavier than some rivals, not yet available in the US (€849 in Europe), and requires a fiddly setup compared with lighter, bifacial competitors; price-per-watt is less favorable in Europe, but its portability makes it appealing for tight storage spaces.
