
Widower urges brain-tumour funding after wife's death
Kris Beasley, whose wife Carly died from a brain tumour at 38, is calling for increased funding and awareness during Brain Tumour Awareness Month. Beasley, from Chippenham in Wiltshire, and their daughter Ivy are partnering with Brain Tumour Research and Plymouth University researchers to push for better understanding of gliomas (including oligodendroglioma) and the development of kinder, more effective treatments.
